Summer Intensive
Auditory Rehabilitation Conference

May 13-17, 2008

SIARC is a unique opportunity for adults with hearing impairment and their communication partners to experience the benefits of cooperative learning in a social environment. In addition, group classes on coping, facilitating communication, and technological advances in the hearing industry will be provided each day.

Complete audiologic assessments, hearing aid checks, and trials with new technology will allow attendees to evaluate their current access to hearing compared to new technology. Digital, programmable, disposable and other types of hearing aids will be available for trial.

Innovations in hearing research topics will be presented by personnel of the Advanced Hearing Research Center along with opportunities for research involvement.
