Sample Schedule

Here is a sample schedule for each day's events:

9:30 am to 10:00 am - Lecture
10:00 am to 11:00 am - Class #1
11:00 am to 12:00 am - Class #2
12:00 pm to 1:00 pm - Lunch
1:00 pm to 2:00 pm - Class #3
2:00 pm to 3:00 pm - Class #4
3:00 pm to 5:00 pm - Optional appointments to try new hearing aid or assistive technology, visit resource center or view informational videos.
5:30 pm - Evening Activities

Classes will include:

Audiological Update: Complete hearing test and hearing aid check including new measures of hearing and speech recognition and explanation.

Coping Skills: Information to identify reactions to stress, ways to cope with stress, how to change other's behaviors to reduce stress, understanding behavior based on personality types.

Technology Update: Overview of technology that will be used each evening, introduction to new technology such as Audisee and Icommunicator, explanation of new features on advanced hearing aids.
