Synthesis Between Clinic and Research
The Hearing Assistance Research Program (HARP)
combines clinical and research objectives in a thorough evaluation of our patients.
Services from the HARP include audiological evaluations, hearing handicap assessments and
assistive technology assessments. These services provide a comprehensive insight into the listening needs of our
patients.
HARP includes interaction with on-going research at the Advanced Hearing Research Center. By participating in HARP you will be given the opportunity to get involved in research programs designed to improve our understanding of the auditory system and
hearing loss remediation.
Current Research Projects include:
1) Application of Advanced Listening Technology for Adults (AALTA)
